Chillout at Dalaran

so its been almost a month since my last post. nothing much happened in the raiding scene except downing TOT 10 a several of times each week, and reaching general vex in Uldar tofind out that i had already downed him with Novos "shity" Ordo.

The funny thing about General Vexx is that when we reached him with Pandas i had no recollection that i ever saw this thing b4. 3 days ago i was organizing my sreenshot folder, i found a shot with me &  novous guild beside him downed lol. i swear i cant even remember 1% of the incident. 

the question ofc is, was the raiding experience with Novos so bad that i totally surprised and blocked it out from my memory so i can cope?!!!! ROFL

What i love about this game is that is so open that you have many approaches to enjoy the game. 

I am currently chilling out taking it slow with raiding; i only raid like once or twice a week max. basically 1 for TOT raid (i need the badges to get a new set of pants so i can start wearing my upgrade boots; what?!!!!! i am a lady after all i cant wear a boot that doesn't go with pants am wearing!!!!!). Other raids will be basically helping out in raids like uldar to fill in empty spots so the guild wont cancel raids and stuff.

The most thing i kind enjoy now is having fun with the community and socializing with the guild, friends or ppl on the server. the other thing is farming reputation with several tribes and factions. Am currently trying to get exalted with Orgil'la and the sky shattered; also if i get exalted with the fenzy tribe in winterspring i will obtain the title of "Diplomat".

Proggression with pandas

So we continoued our Uldar 10 man raid last night.

We started with Hodir, a boss i only got to see once before with the hardcore guild Shadowstorm that i was in back in march 09. We had a few wipes ofc and on our 4th attempt we downed the guy. we moved next to freya, after a few wipes we downed her !!!!!!! Now here i was beginning to be amazed by the good chemistry between the group and especialy I have with the guild. 

Note: ofc beining unlucky as usual, Freya dropped nothing but plate gear, while she is the best boss that drops rogue gear lol.

So we moved to Mirmorn. now here it was totaly new to me and its a progression that happened with Pandas' guild. 

TBH i joinned pandas not expecting any proggression or if there will be one it might happen a bit later down the road like in 3-5 month time.

we had a few attempts at mirmorn trying to understand its mechanics as it was a new area to 90% of us. 

So i am quite happy i joinned the guild as its not only great chilled people but also proggressive raiders.

Joining New guild - Suicidal Pandas

As of my last post i have left my previous guild and joined Suicidal Pandas. Yesterday was my first raiding night with them. We went to Uldar 10 man, a fresh run. I have to say that i was really enjoying myself and the raid seemed to progress very smoothly.

The trick was simple!!!!!!!!

Do it on Easy mode !!!!

There is no need to over complicate things all the time and having to stretch all your abilities and skills every time you go raiding.

Sometimes its nice to enjoy a simple raid going smoothly not have to worry about wiping, changing tactics to down the boss,......etc.

Some may argue that easy mode is for noobs and they can do it with their eyes closed. Well, tbh its probably true but we did do it with our eyes closely shut and one manned our progress past Auriya (which is one of my hated uldar bosses).

It was a welcome change that i needed from the previous raid experiences where one has to be 120% alert, focused and to some extend pressured. I was enjoying playing with other people with a chill-out environment. 

Of course not all the raids will be like this as the guild will need to do SOME progression raids where we can push the limits of our raid to achieve a higher status.  I will definitely feel more encouraged to take part in these progression raids as i know the guild has many epic players and its needed to give a moral boost to new recruits and the guild reputation.

So we downed Flame levi, Razorscale, XT, God of war boss, Auriya. then moved to the big worm boss where we got so close in downing it. However, time did ran out and we were a bit tired; so a good call was made to end the raid at this point and continue the next day.

This is exactly the kind of attitude that i would like to take part of. unlike in the previous guild, i played in a raid for 2.5 hours only wiping at the first boss constantly. having the leader so stubborn that i left 30 min early, he started blabbing with some shity words.  apparently, he was too stubborn to understand how people are feeling at this point and the amount of frustration that built up which will only lead to one thing ==========> more & more wipes. (which was the case)

So i think this is gonna be a good guild for me as the people here do understand the human factor in playing this game and TOP of all value to have FUN playing is one of the highest priorities. 

Leaving the Guild - Novus Ordero

So i have been in the guild for almost 3 months now; counting the time spent in Auto Kane before it got disbanded and turned to this. 

Lately, i haven't been too happy about how things are going. Tbh, i have very little tolerance when i feel unhappy at a guild or being pushed to do stuff i don't want or like to do.

So last night we raided TOTC (hate this raid now) and i swear we kept wiping at the first boss for 2.5 hours; during which i was begging to do some thing else coz clearly this ain't working out. So, i wanted to leave in the middle but i squeezed my self and kept raiding for the 2.5 hours, after which my mum called me out of the blue and needs me to pick her up in 15 min.

So i had to say that to the raid, then the leader goes and bash me in front of everyone about me quitting before the end of the raid time, which is 30 min more. and how i should announce that i wont be staying the whole time before i accept to raid and some blah blah blah.

I know its not a big fight but i have no tolerance to people acting as assholes and so happy they have the leader position so it messes with their heads and forget its a game. lol

I logged off to go pick up my mum and logged back like in an hour or so. Few were online but an officer was online. i stated a very generic goodbye speech nothing special or personal in it; "like sorry i am not attuned with the guild ways and thanks for the good times here. hope to see you again." I left the guild. 

After 30 min, i joined another guild "Suicidal Pandas" whom are a huge allies of the "Nightshift". I was in Nightshift and was an officer and a rogue class leader so i played and had loads of friends with S.Pandas.

So i hope things will be better here, i feel it will :D
